The business magnate and his 44-year-old partner welcomed a baby boy named Ace and confirmed to German news organization Blick. The proud father revealed to the publication that he is so proud to welcome his first son.Detailing the events of the birth, the Britain native said:
“Mother and son are doing fine. It was all so easy. The birth was over after 25 minutes. I thank god!”
The newest addition to the Ecclestone clan was born 32 years after Bernie had his third daughter. He welcomed his first child, Deborah, 65, in 1955 with his first wife, Ivy Bamford, and then came Tamara, 35, and Petra, 31, with his second wife, Slavica Radic.
The news of baby Ace’s birth comes shortly after his dad made headlines in a recent interview with CNN where he made a scandalous statement about racism while praising Lewis Hamilton’s campaign for diversity in the racing world.
Yahoo Sports recalls that Bernie and Fabiana tied the knot in 2012 and announced their pregnancy news earlier this year. The billionaire revealed in an interview that he didn’t feel “unusual” about being a father at his age because he has had “plenty of time to practice.”
HELLO! Magazine notes that the grandfather-of-five also shared his hopes for his son to learn how to play backgammon. Flosi, a Brazilian marketing director, however, didn’t share the same enthusi-asm as she said:
“Like all parents, we have only one wish: the child must be born healthy. Hopefully, he will never express the intention to do something with Formula 1.” The news of baby Ace’s birth comes shortly after his dad made headlines in a recent interview with CNN where he made a sca-ndalous statement about rac-ism while praising Lewis Hamilton’s campaign for diversity in the racing world.
Ecclestone, who is currently the Chairman Emeritus of the Formula One Group, revealed that he didn’t believe Hamilton’s campaign will do any good as “bl-ack people are more rac-ist than what White people are.”
However, when asked to provide statistics to back up his clai-m, Bernie couldn’t provide concr-ete evidence.IMDb notes that Ecclestone started as a motorsport driver before building his Formula One team, after which he focused on broadcasting the sport. He is described as one of the richest and most influential businessmen in the world.
